About

SkyLep is an interactive guide to the night and day sky. We combine a real-time map, precise satellite data, and astronomical knowledge to help you plan every observation stress-free.

Why SkyLep was created

The information needed for sky observation is usually scattered across complicated catalogs, tables, and multiple applications. SkyLep gathers it all in one place and automatically adjusts it to your location and current time.

Three main areas

Sky observation

Quickly identify stars, planets, and objects visible above your horizon from anywhere on Earth.

Satellite tracking

A clear catalog combining orbital data with accessible descriptions of artificial satellites, space stations, and space debris.

Astronomical events

A convenient calendar forecasting flybys, planetary conjunctions, solar and lunar eclipses, and other noteworthy events.

Who creates SkyLep

SkyLep grew directly out of the Nocne Niebo (Night Sky) community - an online project run by Zbigniew Zając, which brings together nearly half a million astronomy enthusiasts on social media (including 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and 350,000 on TikTok).

Always evolving

The platform is constantly growing. We introduce new tools, object profiles, and interface improvements step by step—always after field testing across various devices.
