Credits & Licenses
SkyLep uses multiple independent data sources and software libraries. The editorial layer does not replace technical data: descriptions and illustrations are connected to objects through stable catalogue identifiers.
Satellite data
Satellite orbital elements are obtained from CelesTrak services. NORAD numbers act as stable identifiers connecting the catalogue, tools and editorial materials. Predicted positions and passes are computed results, not real-time observations.
Astronomical data
Names, designations and basic parameters of stars and deep-sky objects come from documented astronomical catalogues. A specific source should be credited with the material whenever required by its license or editorial context.
Images and materials
Rights information for images and graphics is stored with each material. Its caption, author or institution, source and license take precedence over this general page. The absence of a caption does not mean that a material is in the public domain.
Software
SkyLep uses open-source software. The license terms of individual dependencies remain governed by their respective license files and project documentation.
